Lauren Conrad makes her runway debut at NYFW.
Laguna Beach alum and Paper Crown designer Lauren 'LC' Conrad has come a long, long way since her days on MTV. She made her NYFW debut on September 9th surrounded by her fellow Laguna Beach co-stars Lo Bosworth and Dieter Schmitz and a slew of A-listers rocking the front row including Chrissy Teigen, Ashley Tisdale and Olivia Culpo.
A romantic, whimsical palette of muted pinks, whites and neutrals walked the white-wooden runway, the models rocking braided crowns and sweet headbands. Surrounded by a subtle mix of fabrics, textures, and detailing, fringe and lace pieces stood out prominently amongst the more basic shapes and styles.
I am loving the white dresses in the collection - the styles are soft, ultra feminine, and effortlessly wearable. LC perfectly paired the dresses with white ballet flats and intentionally undone hair for a completely romanticized look.
My overall favorite looks were slightly edgier, LC choosing to layer an unconventional jacket over the more playful pieces for a really uniquely sweet style. I absolutely adore the cotton candy colored moto-jacket layered over the white bandeau and pink tulle skirt - the look is feminine with a side of feisty.
